For students pursuing a degree in education, linguistics or English/French literature. Applicants should demonstrate a passion for helping others learn.
2. Global Citizen Scholarship
Award: $150 off tuition
For students who are passionate about travel, cultural exchange, and promoting communication across cultures through language education.
3. Multilingual Scholar Scholarship
Award: $150 off tuition
Awarded to applicants who speak or are actively learning two or more la and languages and appreciate the value of multilingualism.
4. Community Leadership Scholarship
Award: $150 off tuition
For students who have volunteered in their communities or demonstrated leadership through school clubs, organizations, or community initiatives.
5. Persian Language Scholarship
Award: $150 off tuition
For applicants who promote Persian language learning by tutoring, mentoring, participating in conversation groups, or encouraging others to learn the language.
6. Future Educator Scholarship
Award: $150 off tuition
Open to students enrolled in Education, English, Linguistics, Modern Languages, or related university programs who aspire to become teachers.
7. French Language Scholarship
Award: $150 off tuition
Designed for students studying French or wishing to strengthen bilingualism in Canada. Applicants should demonstrate an interest in French language education or cultural exchange.
8. Italian Language Scholarship

For students studying Italian or who have a passion for Italian language and culture. Applicants should explain how learning languages has influenced their personal or professional goals.
9. International Student Scholarship
Award: $150 off tuition
Available to international students studying at a Canadian university or college who are interested in earning an internationally recognized TEFL certification.
10. Languistic Excellence Scholarship
Award: 50% off tuition
Awarded to one exceptional applicant who demonstrates outstanding enthusiasm for language learning, teaching, and cross-cultural communication. Selection is based on the scholarship application and a short personal statement.

The next course starts July 8, 2026 at 6:00PM at our school OR online (in person for package 1 OR online if you choose package 2).
Apply by July 6, 2026! We will review your application and see if you are eligible for a scholarship.
Spots fill up quickly, so send your CV as soon as possible. We will also have another course starting in September. Indicate which course date interests you most in your email to alexlamont@languistic.ca.
Duration: 12-week, 120-hour Level 4 TEFL (Teaching English as a foreign language) and/or Teaching French as a Foreign Language course → certificate and practicum required to teach abroad, to teach in private schools in Canada or to gain experience for public school teaching applications in Canada.
Schedule:
1) Join online OR meet in person at our school on July 8 and July 15 from 6:00PM to 9:30PM to learn the fundamentals of teaching a foreign language. Alex and Hamid will be your trainers! You will also have online modules to complete the first few weeks.
2) You will begin your supervised practicum the week of July 20 (flexible, based on your availabilities -> must offer some availabilities evenings or Saturdays to teach classes for your practicum hours). You will teach a few classes per week. If you choose option 1 (hybrid), you will teach in person and/or online; if you choose option 2 (online), you will do your practicum hours with students online.
3) Throughout your teaching practicum, you will also have self-study online modules to complete to learn more about teaching methodologies & some online meetings with us to reflect on your training and teaching.
4) Finish practicum on September 26 & take your final exam to obtain your certificate.
Price: $500 CAD regular -> $349.99 with scholarship -> see scholarships listed above (The price is the same for hybrid & online certificates. The price is the same for combined certificates as well. For instance, if you want to receive a Teaching English/French as a Foreign language certificate, you will pay the same price; however, you might have slightly more practicum hours).
Scholarships available: To support future language educators, Languistic is proud to offer the scholarships listed above to university and college students enrolling in our TEFL Certification Program. Scholarships are only given based on merit. Please indicate your desired scholarship in your application.
Availability: Must be available online OR in person at our school one evening per week and/or part of the day Saturdays for your practicum
